Project Information: Parkwest Fire Protection have been contracted by K&J Townmore Construction to install fire barriers throughout the new build of the Fitzwilliam Tennis Club. The current building was designed by Stephenson Gibney and completed in 1973 and has served the club and its members well to date. With everyone’s higher expectations the Clubhouse needed to be renovated and modernised. Douglas Wallace were delighted to be engaged by the members of Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club to create a dynamic environment reflective of a modern sporting & leisure facility for current and, more importantly, prospective members. Part of the redesign of the Clubhouse was to change the visual focus back onto the external courts so that members and guests could take full advantage of watching and enjoying the tennis matches from the gallery, bars and restaurants.
