Service being Provided: Installation of Fire Barriers around Service Penetrations and Linear gap seals.
Project Information: Parkwest Fire Protection have been contracted by BAM Building to install fire barriers throughout the Children's Hospital.
Work is now well underway on levels -B1 and level -B2 with the installation of fire barriers around service penetrations using Protecta Fire Batts, Fire Mortor, Fire Wraps and Fire Collars. The installation of fire barriers to vertical block wind post using Protecta FR Mastic. The installation of fire barriers to the top of block walls using FSI linear gap seal.
The new children’s hospital (NCH) and satellite centres – will bring together the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street; Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin; and the National Children’s Hospital at Tallaght - it is the largest single infrastructure project in development in health within Ireland at present and its delivery represents a core component of the health services reform. Technology will be integral to support the ‘hub and spoke’ delivery approach in order to share patient information seamlessly across the sites ensuring efficiency and patient safety throughout the care delivery model.
